If you are a founder struggling to articulate your vision and thinking that being more creative is the answer to your problem, this post is for you.
Articulating a vision is more than words; it is about energy, flow, and embodiment.
In my recent conversation with Viktoria Ilina, a psychologist and movement therapist, ex-dancer and model, we explored a profound idea:
Creativity is innate with us. We do not need more creativity. We just need to unblock the flow within us.
Your creativity is in the very flow and energy that you hold within.
Creativity often gets blocked by fear— The fear of being wrong, the fear of criticism, and the fear that your revolutionary idea is actually just a mistake.
When you feel confident in yourself, your ideas can flow freely without being stifled by fear. It is not about being fearless, but about having the courage to try and hold your fears, even if you might stumble.
By using movement to rewire our subconscious, we can release these blocks, because the most powerful ideas do not come from your mind alone—they come from your body.
In our conversation, we also delve into how simple, everyday movements can reveal our deepest insecurities and fears. We discuss the tangible, physical feeling of low self-worth and the simple, yet profound, ways we can use our bodies to change our subconscious mind and what we believe about ourselves.
And, to start rewiring your worth and letting your creativity flow is to first ground your body, literally, which in turn becomes a natural foundation for expressing your creativity.
Viktoria shared a simple embodied meditation + exercise to help you build the confidence that allows creativity to flow freely. Again, it is not about being fearless, but about having the roots to stand firm even when you're afraid.
